We have raised $4400 towards scholarships
to Victor Wooten's Bass/Nature Camps!
Bass Camp happens once or twice a year. We want to provide scholarships to one or two bass players who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend.    So please consider helping us!  Click on the link to the right and use Paypal - that's the quickest way.  Or you can send us a check. Details below.

Recap of our scholarships to date:

In 2000,  we had a successful fund drive in which we raised $600, the tuition fee for Bass Nature Camp. Because the fund-raising was not concluded in time to award a true scholarship pre-camp, the money was disbursed among several students. The disbursement was among students from Sweden, the Netherlands, and Italy, for their dedication and determined effort to travel a long distance to visit camp. The diversity and interest they lent to camp made the experience more meaningful and valuable for everyone. Thank you for being there! Two additional students who had applied could not attend due to illness. The WAVF awarded checks to them to reimburse their tuition deposit. We think this is money well spent. It made the Bass Nature Camp experience special for some students and it also was a gesture from BNC campers of last year in support of this camp. We are honored to be able to give something back.

We appreciate the giving and sharing by those donors who made all of this possible.
